Simeon Earnshaw
Simeon Earnshaw is Neighbourhood Watch’s Youth Engagement and Development Manager.
He has been employed by Neighbourhood Watch Network on a temporary research project working with young people aged 16–25-year-olds, on their views on crime, crime prevention and the potential barriers to them engaging in their local community.
Simeon has worked with 3 National Citizenship Service in the East Midlands and Kent and has run focus group session with members of Crimestoppers’s young group of young people, Fearless, a LGBTQ+ Youth Project and the National Youth Agency’s Amplifi social media project.
Simeon has worked with Soho East Neighbourhood Watch on their Safeguarding strand. In July, he delivered a presentation to their public meeting about Safeguarding.
Simeon has over 20 years of experience as a professional Youth Worker, on a variety of projects including managing youth clubs, detached and for Councils as well as London Fire Brigade. His specialism is youth participation which enables him to work on his professional passion of promoting the voice of young people.
